The Entrusted Legacy Team is steeped in the tradition of public education, K-12 and beyond. Our team is experienced in pre-school, the self-contained classroom of Kindergarten through 5th grade, the departmentalization of middle and high school, and both under-graduate and graduate level instruction at both public and private colleges and universities. This strong foundation enhances our ability to provide high-quality, non-traditional staff development to the adults who work with youth. The problems inherent in K-12 education are complex and entrenched in years of commitment to a system designed to maintain the status quo and only focused on academic components. We believe there is much more such as character education and how to be a contributing American citizen. More of the same is not the answer. It is time to join the 21st century and the trend toward web-based education supported by interaction with an experienced practitioner that is embraced by countries such as China, India, and Brazil. The purpose of our team to provide high-quality learning experiences—has not changed. Only the classroom has changed to embrace the trend of the future. We must understand that the future is not in a classroom defined by four walls, but rather a classroom created in the virtual world of web-based learning and complemented by face-to-face interactions.
